About the store
I have 9 years of teaching secondary math education. I have taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics. I currently teach ESE Mathematics in high school. I teach Algebra 1, Intensive Math, Math for College Readiness, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Liberal Arts. I work in co-taught teaching, resource, and access settings.
I have a toddler and started creation on a busy binder and materials to be added to it.

Experience
I have 9 years of teaching secondary math education. I have taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics. I currently teach ESE Mathematics in high school. Teaching style
I am patient and love finding ways for struggling learners to learn and remember math concepts. I rely heavily on organization and micro-management due to the students I work with daily. I have a more elementary style approach to classroom management because over the past few years I have found that it works better than those of most of my colleagues. I work hard to make each of my classes a class that my students want to attend and learn in (which is difficult for some students to get to want to).
My own education history
I went to to HCC for my first two years of college on a softball scholarship and then to USF for my bachelors in secondary mathematics education. When I became a high school teacher, I became ESE certified and now work with struggling learners to help them meet their educational goals and needs.
Additional biographical information
I am also the head softball coach at my school.
