I taught two years in 4th grade, three years in 2nd grade, 9 years teaching 5th grade Language Arts and Writing, and now going back to 4th grade Language Arts.

Teaching style

I like to teach using short mini lessons and small groups. I like for students to work together in groups and learn from each other as well as from me.

My own education history

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UNCW and my Master's Degree in Reading Education from NCSU. I also have certifications in AIG and as a Reading Specialist.
