Additional biographical information

I have been in education for over half my life. Even before I received my teaching degree and began teaching in 1991, I worked with children in some type of educational setting. I've been very blessed to have taught in about every type of school, from a small rural school, to a small-town school, to an urban, inner city school, to a French immersion charter school. No matter where I was teaching, I always seemed to learn something new. I believe that teacher should always be learning and helping others to learn. This is why I love this site!
