Multiplication Bingo! -- Practice or Review of Basic Facts for Fluency
Developing fluency with multiplication facts doesn't have to be drudgery. In fact, this game is always a hit with 3rd and 4th graders. It allows each student, regardless of mastery level, to feel successful because easy and hard facts are used. Students fill in their own Bingo Boards so every board is unique! Experience
I have experience as a classroom teacher of grades 2 through 6.
Teaching style
I teach most content as part of a thematic unit. Students learn more when they see the connectedness of subject areas, especially when they see a purpose for what they are learning. I incorporate technology when appropriate, and as a mother of 3 active boys I want to make sure learning is high-interest and hands on when possible.
