This product contains vocabulary words with pictures and definitions for the Amplify science unit 3 second grade unit. There is a dotted lined theme and chalk board themed option. Amplify doesn't include definitions or pictures and with classes that are predominately ENL and Special ed. I found I needed the extra support. There are also small student cards that could be put onto rings for students to use during discussions.

I created this product as a tool to help my non English speakers and struggling writers. It worked well as a way for them to be more independent when writing their small moments and realistic fiction stories. I would recommend laminating the sheets so they could be reused year after year.

This is a great resource for K-2 students and a scaffold for students that struggle to write independently in a Science notebook.
