Teaching Abroad

This collection of five worksheets includes crosswords, word searches and a circle-the-answer activity. They cover topics such as integers, whole numbers and powers. These are great to keep in a folder at your desk. They are then easily accessible in times when you just need a little something extra for the kids who finish early to do (something that is fairly quick and engaging, which requires very little explanation).

This activity provides students with the opportunity to practice converting units of measure, through word problems. All eight problems are Australian animal themed, and explore data such as how many kilograms koalas eat, the height and length of kangaroo hops and the difference in length between various Australian animals. The data provided is as accurate as I could make it, with references to where the information has come from. Students then use their answers as a code, to colour in the art
