Teaching and Pixie Dust

My school is very big on flashcards and working with Kindergarten and First graders, flashcards are the easiest way to teach them something every day. So, I made this 40 page PDF with all the Blends, Diphthongs and Vowel sounds that we teach at this early age! I hope you enjoy them and have fun teaching :D

At my school, flashcards are so important for the kids learning and I couldn't find ones on the basic phonics sounds that I liked...so I made my own! The sounds included are: ing, ar, er, ou, ai, oo, ew, igh, ea, and ch. I have pictures that go with each sound and I teach the students how to make each sound (for example, "oo" with the monkey makes a "oo" sound while pounding your chest like a monkey.) Use however you like and feel free to edit it as well!
