About the store
My name is Meghan Parker, I love making things! I am currently teaching visual art in high school and have taught at all levels for almost 10 years. I am creator and lover of all mediums. I like make lessons that kids love and that ignite their sense of play, creativity, joy, and confidence. I have also written an autobiographical comic, ‘Teaching Artfully’ about art, education and what matters!

IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts new curriculum synthesis(first assessment 2027)

This is a document I created to process and document the new assessment tasks and curriculum for the Diploma Programme Visual Arts course while I was in IB training. It includes new versions of the diagrams presented in the guide as well as a one-pager for each assessment. Lovingly illustrated and simplified only where possible.

Teaching style

Everything that design for students is hand created and lovingly illustrated. The hand made element seems to connect to students more quickly and elicit a bigger buy-in. I have three toddlers of my own and hundreds of teenager artists to test my projects on, so this is reflected in the wide variety of projects you’ll find in my store.
