Nikki has always been passionate about creating engaging, student-led learning opportunities that foster independence and confidence. Her focus is on helping each student reach their full potential in ways that align with their individual strengths, abilities, and needs. A strong believer in "less stress, more success," Nikki founded Teaching Autism to share high-quality, ready-to-use resources designed to support educators while easing the day-to-day pressure. Her creative and innovative teaching approach has earned her a stellar reputation with schools around the world. From hosting a pretend wedding in a real wedding venue to transforming classrooms into monthly crime scenes, Nikki brings a unique, imaginative twist to learning - making lessons not only educational, but truly unforgettable.

I’m proud to have been recognized for my dedication to the autism community and the work I do through Teaching Autism. I was honored to be a runner-up for an Autism Heroes Award in recognition of my commitment to supporting autistic students. My website, TeachingAutism.co.uk, was named the #1 Best UK Autism Blog in 2018, and in 2019, Teaching Autism was a runner-up for the Online Social Network Award. That same year, I was also voted the 21st Best Autism Blog on the internet.
