This is a blank dictionary. The cover is in Spanish and it includes the Spanish letters (ch, ll, ñ). I have used it in a kindergarten class and a third grade class. In kindergarten, we used pictures that we cut out or drew and would write the words below. In third, the student use it as they need it and they write new words that they have learned in Science, Social Studies or Language Arts.

Homework Folder Cover Spanish and English
These are covers for a homework folder for Kindergarten to 5th grade. I always glued this cover to the front of their homework folder (I used the 50 cent folders from Staples or Office Depot). I would write their name under the lion in the box. This made sure that all the students had a homework folder the first part of the school year regardless of their home situation. This is a set of 7 worksheets in Spanish (also available in English) focused on counting and one on one correspondence. The objects are set up in groups of 10 to correlate with the Common Core standard and their focus on base 10. This is perfect for independent practice or small group intervention. It gives you a good understanding of which students can count and recognize numbers accurately.

Objetos que comienzan con...- Spanish phonics book
This is a great book for kindergarten students. I used to staple it in between two pieces of construction paper. When we were learning each sound, they would look through magazines or draw pictures of things that started with each sound. You can also give them one page at a time and put them up as display in your classroom. Includes a page for each letter including ñ, ch and ll. Can be used in English, you would just take those pages out. It is also great for fine motor skills.

Teaching style
I use a constructivist approach. I teach using CGI math strategies, Writers Workshop, Guided Reading, and Daily 5. I believe that it is important to adapt instruction to the students' needs. I am a teacher that is constantly learning and adapting with my students.

Additional biographical information
I started a dual immersion program at my site and it has definitely been an interesting journey. Through it I have found that there are amazing teachers and students everywhere but we often lack the resources necessary to be successful. I work to make the resources necessary for teachers and I am always looking to find ways to help my students get the resources they need.
