Hi everyone, my name is Ali and I teach Early Childhood Special Education and I LOVE IT! Currently I teach in 3 different classrooms which are 2 full inclusion classrooms in the mornings and a self-contained classroom in the afternoons. My students have a variety of special education eligibilities including early childhood developmental delay, speech and language impairments, and autism spectrum disorders. I previously taught a structured early childhood program for children with autism or autism-like characteristics.

This interactive Thanksgiving book, "My Thanksgiving Plate" discusses what a child might eat on Thanksgiving through a catchy rhyme (plate/late). It also exposes the students to ordinal numbers, 1st-10th. There are two versions of the book in this download. Pages 1-11 is the easier version, where children are supposed to match the picture that is on the plate. Pages 12-22 is the harder version, where children have to find the food to put on the plate.
