In today‘s world, it is important to have open communication as well as documentation. Anytime I started a new book unit with my high school students - even if it is was an approved book by the school district I liked to get permission from the parents. This is the same template I used to communicate with my families. Use this to help you find the right and professional wording to share what books you are reading with your classes.
