Experience
I began teaching special education in 2016. All my teaching experience is from teaching in rural, low-income schools in southeast Ohio. We have a lot of challenges, but we pull together and work for success every day.
Teaching style
As a young teacher, I am still developing my teaching style. I am striving to make lessons that are more interactive and student-driven. I tend to interact with my students in a comfortable, laid-back, informal manner while maintaining professionalism.
My own education history
I attended Avon Lake City Schools, located in northeast Ohio, from Kindergarten through graduation. I graduated with a B.S. in Education from Ohio University in 3.5 years, then dove into teaching in southeast Ohio.

I am recently married. Husband and I live in the woods with our doggos, a sassy kitty, and a tank of fish.
