This is the PowerPoint Template on teaching classroom procedures at the beginning of the year. This Ppt is the lesson component to the “Don’t eat the Marshmallow” activity. This is a wildly popular first day of school activity. It has been downloaded over 800 times on Edmodo. It was so popular at my middle school last year that teachers did this activity with their students on the second day of school because of the number of student requests. Experience
I have been teaching for 22 years. I have spent most of my career teaching 7th grade Language Arts, Reading, Highly Capable and Gifted, 8th grade Leadership and Drama and for the past 6 years High School English.
Teaching style
I believe it is paramount that educators teach students with tomorrow in mind. We need to integrate technology into our curriculum while maintaining a focus on high standards. The classroom should also be a fun experience for both students and teachers.
