Experience

I am an experienced elementary educator with a strong focus on creating engaging, standards-aligned learning materials. I specialize in designing resources that mirror state assessments, helping students build confidence and succeed on high-stakes tests. My classroom experience allows me to create materials that are both practical for teachers and effective for student learning.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on rigor, clarity, and student engagement. I believe students learn best when they are challenged with meaningful tasks that require critical thinking, not just memorization. I design resources that incorporate real-world connections, higher-order thinking (DOK 2 & 3), and clear scaffolding so all learners can succeed.

Awards & shining teacher moments

🏆 2023 Teacher of the Year Helping students grow in confidence and achieve success—especially those who once struggled—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

My own education history

I hold a Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a strong academic foundation in elementary education. My continued professional learning focuses on literacy development, assessment design, and effective instructional strategies for young learners.

Additional biographical information

I am passionate about creating ready-to-use, classroom-tested resources that save teachers time and improve student outcomes. Every resource I create is designed with intention—aligned to standards, easy to implement, and built to help students succeed. I assure you, I use every resource within my own classroom that I share with you all.
