About the store
I am passionate about creating meaningful educational resources. I contribute over a decade of experience in Exceptional Children (EC) and English Language Learners (ELL), with a focus on accessibility and inclusive learning. I apply my expertise to design practical, engaging materials that support students of all abilities and backgrounds. **************************************************************************************************************************** I have over 10 years of experience teaching special education in grades K-8, working in a variety of settings, including self-contained ASD classrooms, inclusion, and resource teaching. Additionally, I have five years of experience teaching English Language Learners (ELL), which has given me insight into supporting students with diverse language backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have focused on differentiating instruction to meet the unique needs of my students, ensuring they receive the support necessary to succeed academically and socially. In the past three years, my focus has shifted significantly toward behavior management and the growing need for Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Many of my students require additional support in regulating emotions, building social skills, and managing behavior, which has led me to integrate SEL into daily instruction. I have worked closely with students to develop coping strategies, improve peer interactions, and create a positive learning environment that fosters emotional growth. Beyond special education and ELL instruction, I have also taught 2nd and 4th grade, providing me with valuable experience in general education classrooms. This has helped me understand different instructional approaches and how to create inclusive environments where all students, regardless of ability level, feel valued and supported. My diverse teaching background has given me the skills to adapt, modify, and implement effective strategies that benefit all learners.
