I have taught third grade as well as fourth grade. My heart is in teaching intermediate!
Teaching style
I purpose to develop lessons that are cross-curricular and largely collaborative. My teaching pedagogy is student-focused, high-interest, and engaging. Technology is a huge part of what I do. I appreciate technology advancements as critical enhancements to classroom learning. I seek to utilize teaching best practices that include application of real-world problems. Through these content-rich lessons, it is my hope that my students will make find relevance and make lasting connections that will afford them the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of standards-based skills with enthusiasm and with ease.

I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and a Master's in Educational Leadership.
