Alphabet Slope Activity
This activity builds confidence for students who need to identify lines that have positive, negative, zero, and undefined slope.
The students will take each letter of the "digital" alphabet and describe the slope of the line segments that make up each letter.
Great for middle school and high school classroom!

I began teaching in the fall of 2011.
Teaching style
I like discussions about mathematics in my classroom to be more of a conversation than a lecture. I want to learn with my students, not teach at them. The way I teach a lesson to my first class and last is rarely the same, but I love it when something sticks and is successful.
