This is my second official year of teaching but I have been working for students since I was in middle school while working at a summer program at Wayne State University.
A different way for students to look at the Expectations and Policies of the classroom. The students really enjoyed the change! It also helped that everything was separated by category so when I asked follow-up questions, they were easy to find! ****Unless you are Microsoft Word savvy, you'll want to make sure you stay within the margins of the boxes. Otherwise, they will move around and change size. Then you'll have to fix it back to line up. It can be difficult if you don't work with Micr
A fun way for students to practice solving Quadratic equations
At the bottom of each problem in the scavenger hunt, I included a Mathematician's name and a number (This was helpful in case a student made a mistake, I was able to see which problem the mistake occurred). It was a great conversation opener and I even ended up offering Extra Credit for students who wanted to research them!

Provides students with a fun way to review Exponent Rules. The last page (Page 6) includes the problems that will the teacher will use for the BINGO game, along with the answers that match them.
There are 5 different "boards" for this game so the students will have different sheets to play off of. I find that they have more fun if they pick the board they will play from.
By the way, after each problem, I have a student say their answer. If I see too many students mark their sheet after the a
These notes were used in my Algebra 1 and 2 classes where we are currently implementing Interactive Notebooks. The students liked that I had saved them a bunch of writing with this one :-).

**Helpful Teacher Comment** Be sure to allow the students to discuss words they think will fall under each Operation category before writ
Here is my attempt at Cornell Notes. The students liked it! The liked the lines on the paper and also liked the notes on the side.
They asked for more like it!
I attached the notes as a doc so that you can edit it to your liking!
A simple 2-week Bellwork sheet for students.
The first page is for the teacher to plan on, making sure any work or pictures that you may want to add on, will fit.

Giving a test retake but need a way for the students AND parents to be held accountable?? Here's something I've created. I got ideas from all over the place and created a document that puts all the "best" ideas all in one. Hope you like it!

Teaching style
I believe that every student had GREATNESS within them. They may not always show it but I make sure that my student know that I care about them. They must trust us, as teachers. Only then, will we receive our students' best work
