Experience
My teaching career of 14 years has mostly been within Grades 2 and 3, but I have experienced Teaching grades 1, 4, and 5. Teaching style
I truly enjoy teaching in a way that gives students ownership of their learning. When students facilitate their own learning and support their classmates, that is when they truly grow and succeed.

I have been a grade leader for over 10 years. Administration admires my teaching practices and see how successful my students are each year. I have mentored many teachers over the years. I enjoy supporting my colleagues.
My own education history
I have a Masters Degree in Teaching Literacy and an additional 30 credits in Math Based Instruction.
Additional biographical information
I'm a NYC public school teacher. I have worked in Title 1 schools most of my career. I have taught students with a variety of needs and abilities and always have ways to support all of my learners.
