This product includes 2 pages. One page is the coloring sheet, and one page is the answer key. It includes nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. Students have to color all of the adjectives orange, all of the adverbs black, all of the nouns blue, and all of the verbs yellow.

This is an activity that helps students to apply the definitions of Author's purpose by evaluating books, and determining what the author's purpose is. I include several ways the product can be used on the directions page, including some basic tips for students with special needs. I also include a color version and a black and white version, with pictures of how I used this in my classroom.
