With two decades of diverse experience in education, roles have included elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Coach for Title 1 schools, and Program Lead for ENVoY classroom management. Expertise also extends to supporting Multilingual Learner programs and teaching internationally in Taiwan. Additionally, experience as a university adjunct instructor has involved mentoring future educators. These experiences have developed a broad skill set in instructional leadership, classroom management, and language acquisition, offering practical, research-based strategies for teacher success.

Differentiated reading: Home reading log for intermediate students
Use this 4-day reading log to help students go deeper into their reading outside of class. Each day features a different reading skill and different format (e.g. summarizing, making connections, expanding vocabulary, picture/graphic organizer summary). Also, each day can be evaluated using a basic rubric (listed on page 3). The rubric can be used to evaluate the reading log as a whole, too. Problem solving friendship bridge for elementary students
Use this diagram to help students resolve their problems step by step. Each student is only allowed to complete the sentences when it is their turn. Use this reading log either in class or as homework for a simple way to track students' reading. Includes sections for easy, just right, or challenging book evaluations by students, as well as a place to indicate the genre. "Genre codes" can be determined by the teacher.
