With two decades of diverse experience in education, roles have included elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Coach for Title 1 schools, and Program Lead for ENVoY classroom management. Expertise also extends to supporting Multilingual Learner programs and teaching internationally in Taiwan. Additionally, experience as a university adjunct instructor has involved mentoring future educators. These experiences have developed a broad skill set in instructional leadership, classroom management, and language acquisition, offering practical, research-based strategies for teacher success.

Differentiated reading: Home reading log for intermediate students
Use this 4-day reading log to help students go deeper into their reading outside of class. Each day features a different reading skill and different format (e.g. summarizing, making connections, expanding vocabulary, picture/graphic organizer summary). Also, each day can be evaluated using a basic rubric (listed on page 3). The rubric can be used to evaluate the reading log as a whole, too.
