Experience

I am currently teaching 4th grade math and science in Texas. So far in my teaching career, I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade and served as a reading/math specialist for students in grades 3-5.

Teaching style

I am always striving to find creative & innovative ideas to implement in my classroom. My lessons incorporate hands-on materials, differentiation, student choice and technology. I use a lot of small group instruction to meet the needs of my students.

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in curriculum & instruction from University of Texas at Arlington.
