I've been a NYC public school teacher for 18 years, a literacy specialist and an adjunct professor at Hunter College's graduate program for Literacy Birth to Grade 6. I've worked with ELL's for many years, including 7 years in a title one school and 3 years overseas in Thailand. I've also been an environmental educator in California.
