I have 15 years experience in special education, with my specialty, depth of experience, and passion found in launching and developing Adult Transition programs.
Having worked with students of all ages through the years, I can truly say that my passion is working with students who are ready to take 12 years of classroom education and generalize their functional academics in a tangible forms, both in the classroom and community setting.
Before taking my own classroom, I gained invaluable experience working as a paraeducator in a special day class for four years, after which I transitioned into a role as adaptive PE assistant for three years before obtaining my degree and credentials (Education Specialist: M/M, M/S).
I also currently work as an Adjunct Faculty member of Alliant International University, working within the University's Autism Authorization Program.
