About the store

Experience

I taught 4th grade for 4 years and then 1st for one year. I am back to teaching fourth grade and am loving all the new perspectives since moving down to a lower grade last year. I am excited to share the resources that I have made throughout the years!

Teaching style

I teach through hands on activity, visuals, and encourage student-led learning. I take an SEL approach in the classroom and focus on the whole-child.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have been awarded the SELCO Creative Teacher grant 3 years in a row. These grants have helped me fund projects that support SEL learning in the classroom and purchasing books in spanish and of different cultures for my ELLs.

My own education history

I grew up moving a lot and attending many different elementary schools. While I loved reading and school, I preferred to doodle and create while teachers were teaching. I love creating useful posters with visuals for students to help them understand what is being taught. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Science from Grand Canyon University.
