About the store

I have been proudly teaching 5th grade reading and writing in a Title I school for over 7 years now. Prior to that, I taught middle school mathematics in a charter school. I promote education and growth in my classroom by fostering a love for learning and for each other.

Looking to establish your expectations for your students and the use of their agenda books/planner? This is an EDITABLE agreement that you can customize for your own needs in the classroom. It outlines what is required by the student when it comes to using their agenda. I always like to reinforce with my students the reasons why using their agenda is so important. I have included a list of the reasons WHY they should be writing their homework assignments, tests, reminders, etc. every afternoon.

In an effort to incorporate VA Standards of Learning, American Reading Company (ARC) curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB), this activity meets multiple needs. As a part of an in depth research unit into the world of ecosystems, fifth graders can be expected to analyze the structure and function of their particular ecosystem.
