About the store
History in Education I have extensive teaching experience in 4th, 5th, and 8th grades and have taught classes from Preschool all the way up to 12th grade. I moved from a technology instructional position into an instructional resource coach for Secondary education, where I worked often times with new teachers during their first year. I loved my job and the students I worked with across Elementary, Middle, and High School campuses. Current Journey My oldest child is twice exceptional, and we are continuously learning new things about him. Despite having a fantastic team of educators, the demands and sensory overload of the school environment was not the best fit for his learning needs. As a result, I've decided to homeschool him, which has further enriched my teaching approach and creativity. My experience with him has significantly influenced my teaching methods. I deeply appreciate various schooling approaches, having had experience in both public school and homeschooling, and I wholeheartedly support the incredible educators on both sides. The past few years have been challenging, and as a special needs mom, we take one day at a time. However, homeschooling has helped to alleviate some of the struggles and allow me to update and refresh my TpT store a little more often. I'm excited to share things as I make them, and I want to thank my followers for continuing to follow along, even with the inconsistencies. Thank you for your patience and support as I revamp and check items, with new materials gradually appearing over the year!

Teaching style

I am an easy-going teacher who likes to incorporate technology and games into my teaching. I find that students put more effort into learning when they enjoy the measure by which they are learning.
