Teaching style

“If they can’t learn the way we teach, then we can teach the way they learn.” At the end of the day, I want the students I work with to leave through the school doors feeling good about what they accomplished that day. I want them to feel proud of the hard work they put in…proud that they didn’t give up when something was new or challenging, and proud because they are full of that good feeling you get when you choose to treat others with compassion and kindness. If I can help a student believe in themselves a little more than the day before, then it was a good day! “Let’s do more than teach the curriculum, let’s teach kindness, let’s teach empathy, let’s make time to inspire, empower, and open our student’s eyes to the world.”
