We also have vast experiences from previous adventures in elementary school. We are both special education teachers, with certifications in High School Math, Science and English, and have worked in nearly all subject areas with a variety of students. Since we both teach in different areas our store has a wide array of lessons. You will find many math and english lessons. Denae' has been teaching life skills, work experience, english and social studies classes. During the past few years Patrick has been focused primarily in math including; Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Physics. Therefore, we have some unique lessons that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

X and Y-intercepts Scavenger Hunt (CCSS.HSF.IF.B.4)

This is a math scavenger hunt that focuses on students ability to identify x and y-intercepts of linear functions in standard and slope intercept form. This is a great practice activity or refresher from students in all types of algebra. We love these activities because they let students work independently and assess their own work. This gives them ownership of their work, which they love. We have had nothing but success using scavenger hunts in our math classes! This is definitely one of our f
