This is a single unit from the larger GT bundle! This project is designed to take about 8-9 weeks if GT students are pulled once a week for about an hour. The project includes a lesson on "What is Giftedness?" and then a "ME Island" project where they will combine social studies and art to learn about themselves.
This resource included 4- 9 week long units that cover a variety of TEKS. There are also 2 free extension projects for early finishers! This unit is based on seeing GT students once a week.
This project is a great way to end the year! Students will explore all it takes to design a vacation for a family. There is so much choice for students in this project! Students will focus on the process of this activity over a final product. Hopefully students will go into summer appreciating all their parents hard work in designing their vacation!
This unit allows students to explore inventions and how they helped solve a problem. They wills tart with a read aloud called "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" which can be found at most local libraries as well as Amazon. Then they will research a young inventor of their own!

This project is designed for the end of the year for 3rd graders. It is a way for them to show what they know and be creative. They can create any type of game they choose.
