two step word problem, fraction number line, fraction word problem, combinations, division, three factor multiplication, subtraction word problem with estimation
I found that my 3rd grade students were getting the two types of combinations problems confused. Combinations of two different items (can multiply), combinations of 2 or more of the same items (tree diagram). I created this powerpoint of both types mixed in for students to differentiate between the two. The powerpoint DOES NOT have answers. Only the problems with the method used to solve it. My point was for my students to recognize what to do to solve it, not to actually solve it.
