I specialize in creating project-based learning units, RACES writing strategy resources, and supplemental myView Literacy units for Grades 2–5. With over 25 years of experience in education, I’ve taught Kindergarten, 3rd, and 5th grade, served as an ELA Coordinator, and supported new teachers as an Induction Coach. Teaching style
✲ I am passionate about my job and spend a lot of time reflecting on the different needs and learning styles of my new teachers and the students fortunate enough to be in their classroom.
✲ I work hard to help each teacher actively engage with their students by facilitating lessons that are focused, motivating and hands on.
✲ We spend most of our time on differentiation, the backwards planning design and navigating through a new ELA program that our district recently adopted.
✲I can't think of any other job I would rather have than where I currently am.

I have been happily married to my husband, Al since 1981. We live in Rhode Island and have 2 wonderful daughters that we are very proud of. We are extremely fortunate to have 2 grandchildren, Ava and Ollie. They are the absolute love of our lives! We LOVE escaping in the summer by spending time on our boat in Newport and Block Island!
