About the store
I am a National Board Certified teacher with 13 years experience as an elementary classroom teacher and Reading Specialist. I currently teach a 1st and 2nd grade split class. My favorite subject to teach is writing. On TPT you'll find a lot of resources for creating guided writing booklets for your elementary students' writing projects. These booklets have been life-savers for me in my own classroom in terms of organization, planning, and logistics. Ever since I started using these hand-made booklets I've seen my students' writing improve and their love of the writing process flourish!

Integrate your students’ learning about counting coins and adding money amounts with a fun, real-world simulation and economics! This packet organizes a class-wide Farmers Market Simulation across 3-5 days in which students take turns being “Buyers” and “Sellers”. Note: This simulation works best with play money to make the wallets and cash registers. (Suggested amount of money is $3.00 in nickels, dimes, and quarters, but this can be changed to meet the needs of your learners.)
