I've used this product in my class to help students break down the different parts of a quotation. They cut the separate tabs and write the part of a quotation we make up in class. This seems to drive home the order as well as what can go in each spot. Hope it helps your class as much as it has helped mine!

I created this document for my kids to be able to cut and paste the different organizational patterns into a foldable. They LOVED this activity! I used a 6 fold booklet. The top held the organizational patter definition and then each additional tab had one of the 5 patterns they were required to know (sequential order, cause and effect, logical order, comparison and classification). Enjoy!!
I created this chart based off what we did in class. This was for those students who weren't able to take notes and needed a quick way to have the information for theme.
This product was designed to use when assessing students ability to identify sentences and fragments. You can use this in a station or as individual practice.
You can also differentiate this by having students take the fragments and make sentences.
Answer key is included.
Work sheet where the students identify the preposition and object of the preposition (noun) and then create three sentences including prepositional phrases.
This lesson plan template helps me organize my week with both reading and language arts. It has a place to include the objective, TEKS, reading, writing, word study and homework!
