Experience
I have 17 years of teaching experience in the primary and elementary classrooms as well as several years of experience as a literacy/numeracy coach at the district level. I have presented on a variety of topics at numerous local schools as well as several national conferences.
Teaching style
My teaching style reflects my belief that students should be the constructors of their own learning with teachers being their "coach". Walking into my classroom you will see students self motivated and engaged in learning that is at the "edge of their understanding". I believe teaching is reciprocal- I learn as much from my students as they learn from me!
