About the store
With over five years of experience in both lower and upper primary education, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students across a range of subjects. Throughout my career, I’ve taught all core primary subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies, and have developed a deep understanding of how to make these subjects accessible and engaging for young learners. My teaching approach is centered around the belief that every child learns differently, which is why I incorporate a variety of strategies to meet the unique needs of my students. From student-centered learning to hands-on activities, I focus on creating interactive and dynamic lessons that encourage curiosity, foster creativity, and promote critical thinking. I’m passionate about providing a classroom environment where students feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and grow in their academic journey. In addition to these approaches, I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning space where students are supported, challenged, and empowered to take ownership of their learning. Over the years, I’ve developed a toolkit of effective strategies to help students build confidence, collaborate with others, and develop essential skills that go beyond the classroom.

My Friday Positive Card!

Created by
TeachingbyA
This simple yet powerful end-of-week reflection card is designed to help students pause, reflect, and celebrate their learning. Each Friday, students are encouraged to write down three things they learned during the week—these could be academic skills, personal insights, or moments of growth. The goal is to promote a growth mindset, build metacognitive skills, and create a positive classroom culture where learning progress is acknowledged and valued. This resource works well across year levels
