Place Value with Decimals Activity
This is a variation on Talk a Mile A Minute. Students with work with a partner to identify the digit and it's place value. Partner A will have their back to the screen and partner B will tell their partner the value of the digit. For example, the 1 is in the tenths place. I gave suggestions on how you can simplify and how you can challenge. This is a great way to reinforce that place value vocabulary with decimals. It also is a fun way for students to practice saying the values. I did include a
