Standard Algorithm of Division (Long Division)
This helps students understand the placement of the digits using a multiplication chart. I included icons to help my students understand the step that will need to happen next. This has really helped my students be more successful at standard algorithm of division. I have seen success with my 4th graders and thought I would share. I had more fourth graders track the digits with their fingers to help them get a better visual. For instance, if the divisor is 9 then they would go to the blue colum
