REPRESENTING NUMBER MATS 1 to 10 USING PLAY DOUGH

This has to be one of my fav activities for early number learners! There are ten mats in the set. Each mat has a number from one to ten and a different picture whereby children have to roll out 'that many' pieces of dough and add them to the picture. For example, for the number six, children have to roll out 6 dots to add to the lady beetle's body. A great way to assist those children who are reversing their numbers too! Laminate for durability.

WAYS TO COUNT TO TEN - PUZZLE SET

This puzzle set is a fun way to assist early maths concepts of number and counting in children. The set has pictures of fingers, numerals, dots, counting blocks and counting sticks on them that will help to develop number sense and number recognition as children have to match each card in each set to it the corresponding card. Great for math groups and to send home for extra practice! Print off and laminate for durability.

TRACE and COLOUR YOUR OWN NUMBER BOOKLET - 1 TO 10 - QLD FONT

This little emergent 'hands on' reader will assist children who are learning to count numbers from 1 to 10. Children have to count, trace and colour in the given number on each page. A great hands-on activity that can be completed in class or sent home for added practice. The font is in Queensland beginner font.

This reader can be used for teaching and practising numbers 1 to 10. Each page comes with 2 of the same reader, so a good size for little hands to hold. Colourful pictures add to the easy text. Both the written numeral (3) and number name (three) have been used. Great for home use or in the classroom.
