About the store
My past four years in education were diverse to say the least. I have experience working in both the private and public school sector accommodating a variety of learners. I had the privilege of working at a Montessori School in Miami, Florida as an Instructor. In this role, I served a population of students ranging from 1st to 5th grade. I provided small group instruction to struggling students using intervention techniques and extension activities to gifted students. The past year I worked at an Elementary school as a Bilingual 4th Grade Teacher. Teaching style

My teaching style recognizes the ability for students to take ownership of their learning through inquiry based learning techniques. I support my students in academic, social, and emotional stresses to provide a versatile educational experience.

My own education history

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University with a major in Education and a minor in Child Development. I graduated Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA and was on the Dean’s list for every semester I was enrolled in the Education program. I have a certification in Elementary Education (K-6). Additionally, I’m about to commence my Master’s Degree specializing in English Language Learners.

Additional biographical information

Many of my summers were spent as a Camp Counselor in Upper State New York, where I dedicated my time in leading team/individual growth activities. I have a passion for learning which is cultivated in my love for reading. As an educator, it is vital that I must be open and willing to learn innovating teaching methods. I attended numerous professional developments in order to evolve as a practitioner. I spend my time enjoying the outdoors, biking, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
