About the store

Teaching style

As a 5th grade Social Studies teacher, I believe students should have opportunities to learn through inquiry! Social Studies is the perfect subject for students to learn by asking questions. To be successful and excel in a Social Studies students need a large amount of background knowledge. However, lecture upon lecture does not inspire learning. My goal is to blend knowledge building into each of my lessons while still providing fun learning experiences for my students. Projects, debates, group work and hands on activities are the norm in my classroom!
