Use this file as a monthly writing journal, there are two prompts per month that use common primary lines. Use one or use both. This is a great way to show the students writing growth throughout the year and can even be used during parent/teacher conferences to show the parents their work. You can create a book with this and give it to the students at the end of the year so they can reflect on how far their writing has come.

This is an easy to use writing rubric to use for any topic your class is writing about. Included is writing paper with a spot for a picture. Hope this is helpful for your class.
