I have this hung up at the front of my classroom. To get my students to focus on me whenever I need to say something I say: "Eyes on me in 3-2-1". If they fail to do this, I give them a warning. If they get to three warnings in one class period, they move from the letter N of NOISE to the letter O. This continues for the 6 weeks.
