About the store
🍎 My Classroom & Life Experience Hello! Thank you for visiting my store! I'm thrilled to share my passion for creating engaging and practical resources with you. My journey in education officially began in 2018, and it has been an adventure filled with diverse teaching environments and amazing students! Diverse Classroom Settings: I started my career in a project-based learning (PBL) charter school, where I cultivated a love for student-driven inquiry and hands-on activities. I then transitioned to a traditional district-based setting, giving me a balanced perspective on integrating creativity within established curriculum guidelines. Grade Level Experience: I've had the joy of teaching both Second Grade and Fifth Grade, giving me a deep understanding of developmental needs across the elementary spectrum—from foundational literacy to upper-elementary critical thinking. Beyond the School Day: My commitment to students goes beyond the typical school hours. I've spent many hours teaching Saturday Schools, and the early years of my career were enriched by extensive substitute teaching across various subjects and grades, broadening my instructional toolkit. STEM & Enrichment: Before I stepped into the classroom, I worked with Bricks4Kids, a STEM business, leading after-school programs that taught children essential engineering and technology concepts using LEGO projects. This experience solidified my belief in the power of hands-on, playful learning. Coaching & Mentoring: I also spent time as a soccer coach for middle and high school girls, which taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and differentiated motivation—skills I use every day in my classroom. A Parent's Perspective: As a parent to two energetic toddlers myself, I understand the time constraints and practical needs of a busy family. I pour that real-world experience into every resource I create, ensuring they are effective, easy-to-prep, and genuinely useful for both teachers and parents! I bring all of these experiences—the project-based mindset, the district rigor, the STEM creativity, and the parent's practical lens—into developing resources that I hope will save you time and spark joy in your students!

Teaching style

👩‍🏫 My Teaching Philosophy: Consistency, Trust, and Calm My teaching style is built on the foundation of creating a predictable, safe, and positive learning environment where every student can thrive without the distractions of power struggles or emotional outbursts. Here’s a look into the core beliefs that guide my classroom management and resource creation: Goodbye Power Struggles; Hello Procedures: I believe that success lies in letting go of the power struggle and instead investing wholeheartedly in consistent procedures, fair expectations, and simple, logical consequences. When the structure is clear, learning becomes the focus. The Power of Calm: I commit to never yelling or showing great negative emotion. Our students deserve an adult who models emotional regulation. My classroom is a place where consistency, not reaction, is the standard. The Reflective Educator: Education is a journey of constant growth. I am dedicated to daily reflection as an educator, always seeking new ways to improve my practice and master the art of managing student behavior with empathy and effectiveness. Relationship First: I firmly believe that learning cannot happen in a vacuum. Teachers must care about and put in genuine effort to create some form of positive relationship with their students. This connection is the bridge to motivation and engagement. A Trusted Anchor: For many students, the teacher may be one of the few consistent and trusted adults in their lives. This role demands that we are unfailingly predictable and trustworthy. My actions and decisions are always guided by this principle, ensuring I am a safe, reliable anchor for my students every single day. My resources are designed with this philosophy in mind—they promote student independence, support clear structures, and free up your time so you can focus on building those crucial student relationships!

My own education history

🎓 Education History My academic path has provided me with a strong foundation in both the mechanics of human development and the science of effective pedagogy. Teaching Credential: University of La Verne Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Exercise Science: California Lutheran University This unique combination of studying human physiology and educational practice informs my holistic approach to teaching and learning!
