This product provides 5 different narrative prompts that respond to the text Boy by Roald Dahl. 3 of the prompts are about continuing a story, and 2 of them are about writing from Mrs. Pratchett's POV. You can assign a specific prompt or let the students choose! I have also included lined essay paper. This works great in addition to the Amplify ELA: Unit 6A for 6th graders!

I have my student glue this in their composition books and fill it out after each assessment. This allows student to keep track of scores and be accountable. I always give each student a goal score to beat depending on state testing from the previous year and if they beat it I give a small incentive. There are two different sizes in the pdf. One is for composition notebooks and the other is standard size.

These are a great way to motivate students to complete homework, while also giving them the option to redo assignments for a better grade if they never miss a homework assignment! We split our year into 4 quarters, so I give my students 2-3 per quarter!

This checklist is for revising an argumentative paragraph. This goes well with the Amplify Dahl Unit. I use it for lessons that require students to go back and check their writing, so they have specific things to look for.
