I have found that kids absolutely LOVE the math game of Bump! So, I decided to create some different game boards to mix things up each month. The rules of the game never change so once they know how to play, putting out a new game board will just add a little more excitement. Rules to play: This game is for 2 players. This is an activity to be used in small groups or math stations. It is designed to practice understanding subtraction. It looks at the whole number and then the part you know and the missing part (modeled after EnVision math series). Students will use ten-frame and counters to figure out missing part and then record on worksheet.
