Experience
I have bounced around as a long-term substitute teacher for first grade students, taught a class of 2nd graders going into 3rd grade in Summer School, and am now teaching 2nd and 3rd graders Basic Skills Instruction.
Teaching style
My teaching style revolves around social and emotional learning, with a highlight on creating safe and emotionally supportive environments for my students! I believe that the atmosphere and ways in which a child learns will shape their self-confidence and their motivation to continue learning. That is why many of my TPT resources offer physical movement, aesthetically pleasing forms, and worksheets that are easy for children to understand.
