ABC- alphabet chart with picture clues - children can point with finger to each letter as they say them, then point to picture as they say word, then slide finger under picture to say sound of letter; for example: point finger on Aa, say "A";point to pic - say apple; point to "Aa" say /a/ (short sound of a) and so on with each following letter. They learn consonant sounds and vowel sounds, long and short vowels. They attribute to picture, word and letter recognition all in one easy exercise.
